Why Plan a Trip to Nepal?
A vacation in Nepal is not only about exploring the sights but it’s a complete immersion in an experience that brings together religion, nature, and adventure. As the country is home to eight of the highest peaks in the world, some of them being Mount Everest, it is a dream come true for trekkers.
Besides its mountainous regions, Nepal also owns attractions like UNESCO World Heritage Sites, lively local markets, and calm lakes.

7 to 15 Days Nepal Tour Package -Introduction

Nepal is a paradise for tourists who spend at least 7 days and at most 15 days there.
This is a multiracial society with a rich history, adventure wilderness, and unique culture. Although its geographic location is small, its natural and cultural heritage makes it a very popular place to visit. The best qualities of Nepal and its people, natural scenery, the entire list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the presence of the forests; and the wild animals, flowers, and other beauties in the Rivers, and Lakes will be the highlights. Under the banner of Nepal Tour, Boundless Himalayas  has provided different options among which travelers can choose the preferable ones. Moreover, the plans are expected to be made through which everybody can optimize the best of a journey and thus keep the memories in an interesting manner.

Abode to the greatest-of-all Himalayan range, home to much of the tallest peaks in the world, Nepal is a mountaineer’s adventure — every sense of it.

It is these majestic mountains that bring in the majority of tourists to Nepal. The moment you enter Kathmandu, you will realize that far greater numbers of tourists are trekking boots than sandal or flip-flop types. And that is where it is as impossible to find a trekking equipment shop as to find a casino in Vegas. Nepal is the trekkers’ heaven.

But Nepal wouldn’t be half the place it is without all the build-up to those sacred mountains!

Nepal is a sensory experience, from the total chaos of Kathmandu to the Nepalese people — always saying hello with a warm Namaste — to the fantastic Nepali food and ancient Hindu temples.

Nepal’s magnificent natural beauty, ancient history, rich mix of cultures, languages and religions and its distinctive art and architecture offer a rewarding destination to explore at least once in a lifetime. The 10 days incredible Nepal trip (Non-Trekking type) is the blend of cultural and religious heritage, natural sceneries that will introduce you to our world of divinity incorporating the beautiful city of lakes Pokhara, with our crucial visit to International Mountain Museum that documents the mountains and mountaineering developments since past decades.

Another remarkable destination Tansen, the ancient hill town  offering magnificent views of Himalayas and local culture and lifestyle. To add flavor to this trip, the trip is decorated with a must visit place of Chitwan National Park with full day jungle activities in dense forest of rich flora and fauna, elephant riding, canoeing, Tharu cultural program, endangered species of bird watching, etc. Lumbini, the world famous historic birthplace of Lord Buddha, acquaints you with Nepal’s unique religious tolerance and teaches the peace to all over the world.

Another attraction Bandipur the hilltop ancient Newari settlement introduce you with medieval town that is mostly untouched by modernization where you can enjoy the tranquility of life in the foothills of the Himalayas. The Himalayan scenery and the diversity of forest and farmland in the middle hills and lowlands add attraction to every journey.

This tour also consist of the visit to the old city of Bhaktapurlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses the rich arts and culture, unique pottery, temples, and beautiful wood, metal and stone artworks. Worth to mention this trip would be one of your incredible trips ever you have accomplished.

Bhaktapur visit

What is Bhaktapur known for?
Bhaktapur is not just renowned for its miraculously well-preserved medieval atmosphere but also for being a living presence of the Newari civilization, a community which has inhabited the Kathmandu Valley for centuries. The “City of Devotees”, Bhaktapur gives one a glimpse into Nepal’s very rich cultural, artistic, and historical heritage.
The city’s streets, temples, and courtyards bear the eternal mark of handiwork, where wood, metal, and stone blend with each other in wondrous architecture that still takes breaths away from people even today.

In essence, Bhaktapur remains a stronghold of the Newari people, whose eternal culture and traditions still flourish in the city. The Newars, with their language, rituals, and festivals, remain the pillar of the soul of the city. Their art, whether in the carving of elegant wooden windows or the splash of colorful pottery, bears witness to a culture that has mastered the fine balance between art, religion, and the mundane. The festival beats, borrowing from Hinduism and Buddhism, vitalize the city, with processions and sacred rites honoring centuries-old religions.

Wandering along Bhaktapur’s uncrowded streets, one is surrounded by a city that is less frenetic and more devotional. The city is living heritage, where temples of earlier times are not ancient relics but living centers of religious and social activity. Bhaktapur’s authenticity lies in its coexistence—its ability to hold fast to its base while embracing the march of time. And here, visitors don’t witness history—they live it, becoming part of the very essence of Nepal’s cultural and spiritual heritage. Bhaktapur is not a place—it is a living testament to tradition’s survival, where Newari spirit infuses every corner, from the beautiful wood carvings to the holy mantras ringing down the streets.

Why should I visit Lumbini, Nepal?

Lumbini is not a location; it is a sacred shrine, a place of profound spiritual significance that has drawn pilgrims and seekers from all corners of the globe for centuries. Being the birthplace of Lord Buddha, it is one of the holiest and most life-transforming sites on this planet. The air is thick with the scent of peace and spirituality, where every step vibrates with the ancient teachings of the Buddha’s legacy.

At the heart of Lumbini is the Maya Devi Temple, built on the very spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. The temple is a spiritual center, where pilgrims and travelers from across the globe visit to reflect, meditate, and tap into the universal message of peace. There is the Ashoka Pillar just a little way from here, a monumental inscription erected by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC to commemorate his pilgrimage and the propagation of Buddhism to the rest of the world. They are not only historical monuments; they are powerful symbols of humanity’s search for peace, compassion, and enlightenment.

Lumbini is much more than its physical monuments; it is a living testament to religious tolerance and harmony. The area has a variety of monasteries built by Buddhist communities from different countries, each marked by their unique architectural themes and religious traditions. This diversity attests to Nepal’s commitment to interfaith dialogue and the values that bind humankind across cultures and religions. The tranquil gardens and ponds that are full of lotus flowers are the perfect atmosphere for reflection, as the gentle breeze seems to mouth the teachings of the Buddha, urging the tourists to contemplate the essentials of life.

Visiting Lumbini is not visiting a location with a past—it is an invitation to experience the inner peace that the Buddha also attempted to cultivate. It is a setting where time slows down, and you are able to pause and be still in your own soul. Regardless of whether you visit to find spiritual enlightenment, cultural sensitivity, or simply a moment of stillness, Lumbini gives you an experience long after you have departed its sacred soil.

What activities can be done in Chitwan National Park?

Chitwan National Park, a World Heritage property, is an active and engaging insight into one of Nepal’s richest areas of biological diversity. It is where nature, adventure, and wildlife conservation come together so ideally. The public can engage in numerous jungle activities that leave them with a firm sense of belonging to the park’s richly varied ecosystem and its lovely array of flora and fauna:

Elephant Safaris and Jeep Safaris: Go on an elephant-back or jeep safari into the dense jungle to spot some of the park’s most renowned wildlife, like the one-horned, critically endangered rhinoceros, tigers, wild elephants, and a few species of deer and monkeys. An experience to be remembered because you ride into the jungle deep.

Bird Watching: Nature enthusiasts will find Chitwan National Park to be paradise for bird watching. The park boasts of having more than 500 species of birds recorded there, among them being the lesser adjutant stork, kingfishers, and hornbills, giving visitors an amazing chance of witnessing resident as well as migratory birds within their natural surroundings.

Canoe trip on Rapti River: Paddle along the peaceful Rapti River in a village canoe and enjoy the stunning views while spotting potential crocodiles, herons, and water birds en route. It’s a peaceful means of observing wildlife from another angle in the park.

Jungle Walks with Naturalist Guides: Walk in the wild with a naturalist guide who will take you through the different ecosystems of the park. Familiarize yourself with the vegetation, wildlife, and conservation techniques to protect the threatened species. The walks are more interactive with nature and its inhabitants, hence a learning experience.

Tharu Cultural Encounters: Apart from its natural beauty, Chitwan has the good fortune of hosting the Tharu people as residents, an indigenous tribe with rich cultural heritage. Cultural performances, such as the traditional Tharu dance, are something one gets to enjoy, apart from gaining knowledge about the ancient culture and way of life of this fascinating people. The Tharu people have the special benefit of visitors visiting their native homes and learning about their way of sustainable living.

Chitwan National Park is more than a sanctuary for animals; it’s a tribute to Nepal’s continuous commitment to rescuing and protecting some of the most endangered animals on earth. Whether you’re going on safari, paddling through in a kayak down the river, or integrating with the local community, every journey takes you further towards Nepal’s untamed heart and towards its devotion towards keeping its heritage alive.

Begin your unforgettable Nepal journey today.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek designed by Boundless Himalaya Trekking and Expeditions, one of the easiest treks in Nepal will let you traverse dense forests- Rhododendron and a number of the ethnic Magar villages. The highest elevation of this trek is reaching Poon hill lying at an altitude of 3210 m. In the same way, you will have a tour to charming Ghandrung where we will meet Gurung inhabitants and see ancient buildings and calm setting.

10 Reasons Why Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek Should Be On Your Nepalese Bucket List
If you are dreaming about trekking in Nepal but do not have weeks to spare, Ghorepani Poon Hill could just be the trek that is in order. Set amidst the beautiful Annapurna region, this is one short yet awesomely scenic trek that strikes a balance between natural beauty, richness in culture, and accessibility. Be you an experienced trekker or a first-timer, here is why Ghorepani Poon Hill should feature in your must-do treks list.

1. Ideal for First-Time Trekkers
Ghorepani Poon Hill has been called an ideal starting point for novice trekkers. Compared to other more grueling treks in Nepal, such as the Everest Base Camp or Annapurna Circuit, this generally easy trek for most people to do requires minimal physical conditioning. This fact, along with the undulating elevation that rarely touches 3,210 meters at Poon Hill and comfortable teahouses, makes it so easy for first-time trekkers without overwhelming feelings. It’s an ideal way to get your feet wet in the world of Himalayan trekking.

2. Quick but Rewarding Adventure
Sometimes, you might have just a couple of days, but that should not be the reason to deny you the tremendous views of the Himalayas for which Nepal is famous. The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek can be completed in just 5-6 days, so even if you are short on time, you can still experience all the magic of the Annapurna range. You will get both worlds: spectacular mountain vistas and cultural experiences, all within a short length of time.

3. Not as Tough as You Think
Most people imagine Nepal to mean high-altitude grueling treks that require the most advanced levels of fitness. Ghorepani Poon Hill turns out to be a pleasant surprise on that score. You will indeed get great views of both the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri ranges, yet the trek itself is pretty easy. This is mostly a gradual terrain, with some parts having a moderate uphill section, so you don’t need to be a serious hiker. In addition, it is low enough that the risk of altitude sickness is minimal, making it a more safe option for those new to trekking or families.

4. Sunrise Views at Poon Hill
The most quintessential moment of the trek comes really early in the morning: standing at the top of Poon Hill, watching the sunrise over the ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The view is just magic, with the mountains glowing orange and pink shades as the sun casts its first light over them. It is one of those experiences that watch the world slowly wake up around you and stays in your mind forever. It forms a highlight of the trek and hence completely justifies an early wake-up call.

5. Ethical Cultural Encounters
The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is not all about the scenery; it’s also about the people. You will be among these locals of the Gurung and Magar ethnic groups as you pass through the beautiful villages of Ghandruk and Ghorepani. These friendly people love to share in their traditions with trekkers and are proud of them, so you will learn some things about Nepalese life that give the adventure some depth-maybe savored home-prepared meals or learning some of their customs.
Now, the view: from the first step on this trail, one is going to be rewarded with endless sights of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. You can’t help but be stuck by the peaks, including those like Annapurna I-8,091 m, Dhaulagiri-8,167 m, and Machhapuchhre-6,993 m, looming majestically in the distance against blue skies, a constant reminder of your privileged beings in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Be it walking through the forests, crossing rivers, or even resting at a teahouse, the mountains are always there to remind you of the raw power of nature.

7. Stunning Rhododendron Forests
One of the most striking sights on this trek has got to be the densly packed rhododendron forests. In spring-which is generally March to May-the forests break into brilliant red, pink and white colors when the rhododendrons bloom. The thick green forests, even in the off-seasons of blooming, are cool and shaded from the sun. The ever-changing landscape makes the trek a journey of continuous discovery, keeping your journey exciting from start to finish.

8. Teahouse Trekking: Comfort and Convenience
One aspect unique to the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is the teahouse trekking system. You will be sleeping in teahouses along the way and not camping in the wilderness. This is the time for you to rest, enjoy your warm meal, and get ready for the next day. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and authenticity: simple, yet homely accommodation, a peek into the local way of life. Besides, you will have no need to carry a heavy sack of gear or bother with food preparation. All you are supposed to do is enjoy the journey.

9. A Trek for All Seasons
One of the other big advantages of the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is that it is accessible year-round. The most popular seasons are spring and autumn, when the weather is clear and the skies are crisp. You can also go on a winter trek with a little extra cold-weather preparation or even during the monsoon season when the trail is in its most lush and green prime. Each season has its own special beauty, so no matter when one goes, it is an unforgettable experience.

10. Perfectly Positioned for Extending Your Trek
If Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek stole your heart, and you want to push your limit a bit further, then you are in luck. This is one of the treks that have been combined with the Annapurna Base Camp trekking and takes you deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary. From here, after reaching Poon Hill, you can then head toward Annapurna Base Camp, which is at an altitude of 4,130 meters above sea level, where on every side, you will be surrounded by enormous peaks. Poon Hill’s beauty and the challenge of high-altitude, Annapurna Base Camp combine in one perfect combination.

Conclusion
Although relatively short, the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek encompasses all that is magical about trekking in Nepal: fantastic mountain views, interesting insights into Nepalese culture, and the excitement of being in the great outdoors. Whether a beginner or more seasoned trekker, it’s the perfect way to take in the beauty of the Himalayas with less of the exhaustive effort of longer treks.

This trek follows the Annapurna Circuit Route itinerary mentioned on this web site as far as Manang, it differs as the crossing of the Annapurna Massif is done via a journey to Tilicho lake one of the highest lakes in the world then over the Tilicho pass and down to Jomsom. The itineray here is based on a fly / bus out from Jomosom alternatively if people choose they can continue down the Kaligandaki Valley to the hot springs at Tatopani and on to Poon hill or even choose to trek up into the Annapurna Sanctuary and Annapurna Base Camp.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is a classic for trekkers and it can easily be combined with a trip to Pun Hill or other lower altitude treks. The principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Ganagapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter within a deep glacier-covered amphitheater at the center.

From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola knifes its way south in a narrow gorge below fully 4000mtrs deep. Further south, the gorge opens up into a wide and fertile valley the domain of the Gurungs. The middle and upper portions of Modi Khola offer some of the best short trekking routes in Nepal, and the valley is located so that these treks can also be easily combined with treks into the Kali Gandaki region and Muktinath to the west.

In spite of the great heights of the surrounding peaks and ice walls the valley floor between around 4300 mtrs can provide comfortable camping spots in good weather or alternatively you can stay at a lodge.

Ghale Gaun is a unique trekking destination for trekkers wanting to experience local culture and hospitality at its best. It is situated on the Annapurna Route; the trek can be started either from Pokhara or Khudi. Inhabited mostly by Gurung people there wouldn’t be any better place than Ghale Gaun to observe local culture, tradition and lifestyle while also enjoying magnificent scenery. It is situated at an approx elevation of 2095 m facing majestic Himalayan Views Lamjung Himal, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Annapurna and numerous other majestic peaks.

Comparatively very new trail for trekking, hence there are only basic facilities of lodging. However the home-stay service they provide is simply awesome that one finds it really fascinating to live with locals, eat local food and observe local culture and lifestyle at first hand. It’s really amazing to see a typical day for the locals which includes work outside and inside the house like: ploughing or sowing in the fields, or cutting grass for livestock fodder, chopping firewood for cooking meals, milking cows, churning curd, fetching water from the spring, washing clothes etc.

As the name speaks for itself, each and every service provided is of superior quality than that of regular standard. Best of the camping services that includes deluxe tents, mattress, pillow, sleeping bags, kitchen tent, dinning tent, shower tent, toilet tent, all kitchen utensils including table and chairs, are provided. Tea and coffee anytime as requested, seasonal fruits and desserts with meals are included. An adequate number of qualified and experienced trekking guide, cook, Sherpa staff and porters who are well trained and up to date with knowledge and skills, staff to make all necessary arrangements before group arrives in camp site and also during the trek are provided. Clients and their every need are duly taken care of so that they feel safe and secure all throughout the trip. As the quality does cost the money, you will truly feel value for the money.

Ethical Tourism:

Ghalegaun Home stay is probably the best example of community tourism in Nepal. The concept of community tourism is growing in recent days and Ghale gaun has led by example. No doubt that tourism should also contribute to the development of community. Visiting Ghale Gaun would certainly help the community of the region in particular and develop the community tourism in general.

Natural Environment:

You will not be walking up in the mountain. It’s along the hilly state of Western Nepal at the foothills of Lamjung Himal and many more. It’s on the route of the famous Annapurna circuit trek and possesses stunning views along the way.

Cultural Environment:

Probably the most popular Gurung village in Nepal for its culture and tradition, Ghale Gaun is becoming popular for community tourism as well. Although there are people from different ethnic backgrounds but Gurung is the main group. Despite Gurung being the main community, one can still observe the cultural diversity in Ghale Gaun.
